HELPFUL LINKS
Dear Parents and Students,
I am looking forward to serving you for another year as your Student Support Coordinator at Avenal Elementary School. I am as excited about the 2024-2025 school year as much as you are! This past year at AES proved to be an exciting and rewarding experience. My pledge to you is to support the entire AES family, so that all students and parents feel welcomed, experience a sense of community, and most of all have fun during the learning process. I encourage all the parents/guardians to take an active role in your child’s education because together we can create the best experiences and opportunities for your child. I would like to challenge every student to practice your GROWL every single day so that your learning experience can be exciting and safe!
This is how YOU can GROWL every day:
G - Growth
We encourage you to keep a mindset of lifelong learning, adaptability, and improvement, pushing you to set goals and strive to reach your full potential.
R - Respect
At AES, we teach the importance of valuing oneself and others. We promote a culture of kindness, consideration, and understanding within the AES community, fostering an environment where everyone feels safe, accepted, and appreciated.
O - Outstanding
We challenge you to aim high and excel in your studies, extracurricular activities, and personal conduct, setting a standard of high achievement and quality in everything you do.
W - Work Hard
Wildcats put in their best effort, overcome challenges, and remain committed to their tasks, understanding that hard work is key to your success. We stress the importance of dedication, perseverance, and a strong work ethic.
L - Leadership
AES focuses on developing students' ability to lead and inspire others. We encourage you to take initiative, act with integrity, and positively influence your peers, preparing them to become responsible and effective leaders in the future.
Unleash your potential and let your ambitions GROWL with determination—there’s no limit to what you can learn.
