In partnership with Gear Up, we held a very successful Health, Resources and Career Fair at Reef-Sunset Middle School! Over 100 families showed up and around 30 organizations participated in an event that included health screenings, COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, and diabetes education workshops. The community was also connected with resources and employment opportunities.
The Adventist Mobile Care Unit provided free services and United Health Centers administered vaccines. Valley Voices also handed out home COVID-19 tests. West Hills College-Lemoore nursing students were there to answer questions about the nursing program and were also checking blood pressure. Cal/OSHA shared information and resources for workers.
